laur_kenobi - Joy! (not really)

Enter Monday. Everything is fine. Work goes ok. I started making what will eventually be the single most annoying donut ever to be made on planet earth... The Strawberry Blossom Donut! It's so annoying to make, yet it tastes so good. I knew I should not have tried it! I couldn't resist! I HAD to have one. Now i regret it. Everytime i make one.. it's as if it's looking me in the eye. I haven't had one since but I don't think i can resist for the rest of the month.

That evening i took my nephew to his soccer game. That was alright. Little kids playing soccer is entertaining! Immediately after that was my own soccer game. I swear... it was the fourth game of the season.. and the third game in a row that I made a mistake that cost my team. I think I'm starting to crack under the pressure of being in such a position as keeper. I also think I'm trying too hard to be more aggressive in the net and that's what's costing me. The game was early and the ball was rolling to me with their player (I called her the Incredible Hulk) following it.. and I missed the ball! i can't believe i did that! Hulk walked right up and scored. To make things worse.. my coach would not shut up. OBVIOUSLY I know I made a mistake. He would not let me forget. "Lauryn you have to wake up!" "Start getting your head into the game Lauryn!" "Pay attention Lauryn!" OK!! I KNOW!! FUCK! I KNOW I MESSED UP!! YELLING AT ME IS NOT GOING TO HELP! Oh course i did not say anything... i sat in my net and cried. Eventually we tied the game. I was really starting to feel bad right then. I was almost in tears... and then.. yes.. THEN. I thought about Prince Caspian. I felt better. I'm pathetic. Then the other team started dominating. I made a couple nice saves, but they eventually got one. It was a nice shot too.. right under the crossbar. Less than five minutes later, they got a free-kick right outside the eighteen yard box. Another perfect shot. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. The shots were perfect... they made ME look bad. In the second half they still dominated. They got a corner kick which my defence cleared three times right to their player. She made a nice cross and "Hulk" nearly killed me as we both dove for the ball. She scored.. obviously. After the game all I heard in the car was my nephew talking about how i missed the ball on the first goal... FUN!

When i got home i found the movie "Swing Kids" (with RSL! ^_^) on Youtube. I watched most of it only to find out the whole movie wasn't uploaded... much to my dismay....

Tuesday started off bad. I woke up to my Wilson nibbling on my arm (note not BITING.. nibbling). That was about 6:00 AM. I pushed him away because i wanted to sleep. Almost five minutes later I heard him stretching and then he got his paw/nail caught in my matress! it was so sad! He was SCREAMING in pain! he would not accept my help. I had no idea what to do. Eventually he got it off and ran off (obviously he was fine). My actual day at work was alright. I had to do a big scysco order but that wasn't bad. At the end of the day I had made over 30 SBD! (Strawberry Blossom Donuts)

When i got home i searched up the Youtube poster who uploaded Swing Kids and I noticed she also uploaded "Tape" (also RSL :D) As i was preparing to watch it my internet decided to die.... it was horribly slow. I spend the rest of the night depressing while watching the finale of House.. again.

MY SISTER HAD HER BABY!!!! My first niece!!! Her name is Charleigh! I totally called it! I really can't wait to meet her. It's times like this I wish she didn't live on the other side of the country.. *Sigh*



Today! I woke up to dear Wilson licking my ears.. Talk about annoying. WOW.. he wouldn't stop! it was almost cute.. except that it was 6:00 AM again... My day at work was alright. It saddened me deeply when we ran out of SBD.... I had a great chat with one of my friends at work who has been attending SMU (the University I'm going to next year) for a while. We had a great time talking about it. I'm SO EXCITED!! I'm going to have a social life again! I'm sorry.. but for the past year my only friends who I have LIKED have been my awesome online friends... and my sister. (not that there is anything wrong with that.. it's just nice to have people to talk to when your parents ban your laptop from you.)

When i got home.. I watched "Tape" I must say it was a really GOOD movie. It was really weird.. so i could see why people wouldn't like it. I loved it! I was kinda confused by the end. it left me thinking, and I guess that's what it's supposed to do. Anywho's I really recommend it.. plus RSL is adorable (as always)

Yeah.. that's about it so far. Hopefully nothing else happens before my treasured weekend. I have my first drivers lesson this Saturday!! ^_^
