laur_kenobi - Intense Weekend

First off.. I was stupid enough to take a shift on the Saturday. I took it for two reasons 1) Gas prices are WAY too high, and I need more money. 2) I have this weird twisted idea that if I take people's shifts now, they will work for me when I need time off. It's warped thinking, but.. it makes me look good. :)

The overall shift wasn't that bad. I mean.. last weekend was a distaster! I was working as an out front worker (not my normal bake) it was HORRIBLE! I was glad i wasn't working. It made me slightly nervous taking this shift, because it was a baking shift. Everything went fine. It wasn't that busy.. then. DUN DUN DUN!!! The Tim Hortons inspector dude walked in! I have a really weird relationship with him. It's funny. Anyways, I got really nervous. Everything went fine though. I mean, the stores I work at are some of the best in the province. We have a high standard. We lived up to it though!

After work i found out that my nephew would be spending the night. That was alright, except I didn't really  want to hang out with him the WHOLE night. Plus I just bought the Prince Caspian video game for my Wii, and i knew he would want to play it, but it's rated "T" and he's only ten so he wasn't allowed.. which meant he was going to annoy the hell out of me all night asking why he couldnt play it. Anyways, I was really tired so I went to be at about 9:30.

Enter Sunday... HORRIBLE.

I woke up to the sound of my cat and dog fighting. I then got my laptop and read some fanfiction in my sister's REALLY hot room. I then got hungry and went downstairs to see what was up. I saw my mom and she asked if i knew what happened.. I was like "WTF?" She then told me that "apparently" my nephew was sleeping peacefully in MY room last night (this is true, that's why I was in my sisters room) Then at about like 12:00AM Wilson (my kitten) "hissed and attacked my nephew in his sleep". My mom said that he was like crying he was so scared of Wilson. I'm not saying that Brandon was lying. He probably WAS scared, but I have a hard time believeing that Wilson would hiss or attack anything. I mean, he sleeps with me at night, so he probably thought Brandon was me. Brandon thinks that Wilson's purring is him hissing. He has done it before. I have woken up multiple times to Wilson crawling all over me purring (it's rather annoying). He tends to get right up into your face. I REALLY do think this is what happened. Anyways, now my mom and my nephew think Wilson is like... a demon cat. They were picking on him all day, it was sad.

Too add to all that.. it was like.. extreamly humid all day. I was essentially locked in my sister's room with Wilson. I got to read a lot of fanfiction though. Watched some House (including "Three Stories" which I always thought i didn't like.. but i never had a reason. Turns out I love that episode!) Watched Prince Caspian a lot. I read more fanfiction. Talked to KAEL!!!! Turns out SHE likes Prince Caspian too! even better is that she totally ships Peter/Caspian! just like me! it's like.. Mylar only better because its recent! and like.. hasn't died.

Then I had soccer....

Game was horrible IMO. I hate it. I think I'm done playing keeper... I can't stand it! At least if you make one mistake playing forward, no one notices or you get a chance to "redeam" yourself. As a keeper.. you make one mistake and EVERYONE notices. They all get to blame you. No one cares if you hurt yourself on the play because YOU messed up. It's just fustrating! not to mention the other keeper on the other team was like.. my arch-nemisis! She has played on all my teams and always SHE was chosen over me! I played the whole game TRYING to be better than her.. then.. as the ball comes rolling to me.. i fumbled it.. BIG SCRAMBLE.. I get like.. my ear kicked in... and they score.. they win the game. I'm still bitter about it... guh.. i get too angry with sports.

Yeah. That was my night. Now I'm going to go to FF.net.. and find something to read.. Wilson and I shall be in peace.
